Straight answers to the questions we are actually asked before an engagement — how we work, how work is priced, how we stay neutral, and what you own when it ends. Individual service and tax pages carry their own subject-specific FAQs; this page covers working with TrustAngle at all. If your question is not here, ask it directly — the answer will not be a pitch.
Every engagement follows the same published five-stage methodology: understand the decision, evaluate the options neutrally, recommend in writing with the trade-offs explicit, oversee delivery and integration, then stay engaged as an ongoing advisor. It is documented in full on how we work, and you can see it applied across our consulting practice. The important part is the starting point: we start from the decision you need to make, not from a product we want to place.
With a decision session — a working conversation about the actual decision in front of you, booked through request a session or contact us. You leave it knowing how we would approach the question, what the scope would be, and what it would cost — and if our honest view is that you do not need us for this one, we say so in that meeting.
Technology and business decisions where the options need evaluating before money is committed: platform selection and comparison (see the comparisons hub and the products directory), IT strategy, governance and security through our consulting services, and the investment, formation and market-entry decisions covered by pages like market entry advisory and company formation in Saudi Arabia. Industry context — banking, government, retail and others — is covered on our industries pages.
We are based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and advise Saudi and GCC enterprises. Engagements run on-site, remote or mixed, as the work requires — agreed in the engagement scope, not discovered after it.
Three models, chosen per engagement: a single advisory session (one decision, answered in writing), a scoped project (a written scope, a fixed fee agreed before work starts), or an ongoing advisory partnership (a named advisor and an agreed cadence). In every model the fee is fixed and agreed before the work begins — we do not bill open-ended time against an estimate.
Deliberately, and the reason is on the record: our pricing page is held back until approved ranges exist, rather than filled with estimates we would have to re-quote for most enquiries. What we commit to instead: you will have the exact fixed fee for your scope before you commit to anything, in writing, on the first call if the scope is clear.
No. We take no reseller margin, referral fee or commission from any platform, vendor or implementation partner we evaluate. That is the structural fact our independence rests on — an advisor paid by the winning vendor has an interest in that vendor winning, which is precisely the interest you are paying an independent party to be free of. Our technology partnerships are listed openly on our partners page, and any partnership relevant to a specific evaluation is disclosed inside that engagement.
Structurally, not aspirationally: no reseller margin (above), evaluations scored against your criteria with the scoring visible in the deliverable, and a written recommendation that names the losing options and why they lost. You can inspect the method yourself on the published comparison pages — where a claim about a vendor cannot be sourced to that vendor's own published material, we drop the claim rather than guess.
The most valuable answer we give is the occasional "you don't need this" — it is in our published methodology, and our service pages say it explicitly section by section ("when you don't need it"). An advisor who never recommends doing nothing is selling something.
Named documents, not slideware: typically an evaluation or comparison matrix with the scoring visible, a written recommendation with trade-offs explicit, and an implementation roadmap. Each service page lists its own deliverables under "scope of work" — see business plans and feasibility studies or strategic business advisory for concrete examples.
The deliverables produced for your engagement are produced for you, and the engagement letter says so in plain terms — ownership and confidentiality are set out in writing before work starts, not negotiated afterwards. What we retain is our own methodology and general know-how; what you retain is everything specific to your organization, your data and your decision.
Never without your explicit clearance. Client names appear on our customers page and engagement detail on our success stories and projects pages only after the client has approved the exact wording. The same rule is why those pages grow slowly.
Stage-dependent: interviews and document work early, evaluation workshops in the middle, then — if you take delivery oversight — a standing cadence through implementation. You get a named advisor, an agreed meeting rhythm, and written outputs at every stage gate rather than a report at the end. The five stages and what each produces are on how we work.
We advise, recommend, and oversee delivery — stage four of the methodology keeps the handover to a working system our responsibility — and we coordinate the licensed and technical specialists an implementation needs rather than pretending to be all of them. Where a question needs a qualified practitioner of another profession — legal, audit, formal tax representation — we say so and work alongside yours.
Where confidentiality allows, yes — raise it during the decision session and we will connect you with a comparable past client. We do not publish composite or unattributed testimonials, so the reference you get is a real one.
Book a decision session, or send the question itself through contact us. Careers questions have their own page: careers at TrustAngle.
